Belrose Tutoring Academy (BTA) have always prioritised the health and safety of our staff, students, and clients.

BTA is continuously implementing and improving COVID-19 safety protocols throughout our organization on the advice of relevant health authorities.

All BTA staff are required to adhere to our COVID-19 Vaccination Policy, as well as the following COVID-19 Protocols, as part of our measures to protect everyone in the BTA community

These protocols will be updated on January 16th 2022 in preparation for the new school year.

& Safety

A. All staff members and students must adhere to our COVID-19 Vaccination Policy which includes compulsory double vaccinations for all staff and students who wish to resume face-to-face operations. This policy will be sent on the 11th of October.

B. Staff and students are not to attend lessons if they are showing symptoms of COVID-19. BTA reserves the right to prevent staff and students entering our premises who are exhibiting such symptoms and request a negative COVID-19 test before resuming face-to-face lessons.

C. Staff and clients are asked to check NSW COVID case locations before each session to ensure they have not been at any of the listed locations.

A. Masks are available and compulsory in all BTA settings including our academies and in the homes of students we teach.

B. Tutors are provided with their own stationery kits to minimize sharing equipment. Students are encouraged to use their own stationery for the same reasons but can be provided by BTA as needed.

C. Hand sanitiser (with at least 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol as the active ingredient) is available at the entrance to all BTA academies, as well as on all desks and in tutor stationery kits.

D. Signage is available showing staff and students examples of good hygiene, including but not limited to:

  • Covering coughs and sneezes with their elbow or a clean tissue

  • Avoid touching their face, eyes, nose and mouth

  • Dispose of tissues appropriately and hygienically

  • Frequent washing of hands

  • Avoiding physical contact such as shaking hands, patting backs or high-fives

A. Online lessons are preferred and encouraged over face-to-face lessons where possible.

B. BTA adheres to the 1 person per 4 square metre policy in all of our academies.

C. Parents and Guardians have been asked not to enter our academies unless under extraordinary circumstances to assist us in adhering to the 1 person per 4 square metre policy. Instead, parents and guardians are asked to communicate with their child’s tutor via email or phone call, and to pick up their child from our premises without entering it (designated collection spot).

D. Our academies have been set-up to accommodate physical distancing at 1.5 metres at all times.

A. Cleaning of frequently touched surfaces via disinfectant wipes is undertaken before and after each student by a BTA tutor.

B. Cleaning frequency has been increased at all academies, especially in areas where there are frequently touched surfaces such as keyboards and mouses.

C. Tutors are provided with their own stationery kit to avoid sharing of equipment. Tutors are instructed to clean and disinfect these items.

D. Any stationery used whilst at BTA academies is to be put into the “USED STATIONERY” containers for disinfecting after each use.

A. We do NOT require QR check-in as we do not take walk-in bookings and thus are able to track who is in and out of our academies via our booking software.

Belrose Tutoring Academy (BTA) has always and will continue to prioritise the health and safety of our staff, students, and clients.
